Java Relief is a special kind of coffee retailer. They sell high quality, fresh roasted organic coffee and other quality merchandise.
What makes them unique is that they are a volunteer company and 100% of their profits go directly to children at risk around the world and also here in Minnesota.
The coffee is roasted right here in our hometown by skilled artisan roasters. Most of Java Relief's coffee blends are 100% organic, fair trade certified, high altitude arabica beans. Java Relief coffee not only tastes amazing, it'll warm your heart!
Steve is an graphic designer, and Partner of DW Creative, an advertising agency in Deephaven.
After a career in Visual Merchandising and a short time at the Chamber of Commerce here in Waconia, Brandy has been a stay-at-home mom raising their son Shale and their daughter, Jada.
Their passion and desire are to help children at risk around the world. Whether they are orphans, sex-trafficking victims, or living in an unsafe and impoverished environments. Their goal is to raise money through the sale of coffee and other merchandise to provide for these children with meals, clothing, education, and hope.

Mike Plant, Lauanching a Legacy

Mike Plant was a Lake Minnetonka kid who overcame many challenges to become America's first single handed yachtsman to circumnavigate th globe three times. On his fourth attempt he perished at sea. Mary has kept Mike's legacy alive by raising money for scholarships that are provided to metro area youth and now the inspiration behind the Mike Plant Center.
The center serves over 800 guests in a variety of intergenerational programs from summer camps to clinics, STEM ED and adaptive programs for people experiencing disability for individuals and through Veteran programs and the Courage Center. We are a service provider for the YMCA, Boy Scouts and IOCP.

Our enhanced mission emphasizes nutrition in every meal, which includes a local farm-to-table approach during Minnesota’s growing season. We are always guided by our vision that all people, regardless of socioeconomic, cultural or ethnic background, deserve to meet their basic needs for food, dignity and respect.

Join members of our Rotary club at the Cub Foods in Shorewood on Saturday, December 15 from 10am - 2pm for bell ringing to raise money for The Salvation Army.
Our time period is broken into 30 minute time slots, feel free to sign up for multiple slots. There are three people per time increment, but of course it only takes one person to ring, and more than three are welcome! This would be a fun activity for kids, spouses and friends of our Rotarians.
